In addition to a variety of earnings above and beyond mileage pay, we provide options that help take care of you and your family. As listed below, these are the carriers that we work with to provide the best support to our fleet.

Pride Family Culture

We are a family business and when you work for Pride, you become part of that family. We keep our family culture strong with BBQs, holiday celebrations, Driver Appreciation Week events or sometimes even surprise goodies brought to your desk or driver’s lounge by the President and the CEO.

Life Insurance

Eligible, full-time employees receive a life insurance policy on their eligibility date which covers $25,000 for the employee, $5,000 for the spouse, and $2,000 for each dependent child. Pride pays the life insurance premiums for the basic life policy. Life insurance is through LifeMap.

Health, Vision & Dental

Pride employees have the option to select from 4 plans offered through United Healthcare, a nationwide provider of high-quality healthcare, from HMO plans to PPO plans. To ensure its employees can afford health insurance, Pride pays at least 70% of the individual health insurance plan for full-time, eligible employees. Delta Dental is our dental insurance provider. This is a nationwide provider and we have a very rich dental plan! In addition, Pride pays 95% of the individual coverage for full-time, eligible employees! Vision is through EyeMed - 100% employee paid - no contribution from Pride.

Supplemental Life Insurance

Sometimes employees need more than the basic life insurance coverage. To help these employees, Pride offers supplemental life insurance at a very low group rate. Supplemental life insurance is also available for spouses and children through LifeMap.

Supplemental Financial Protection

Through a partnership with Colonial Life, we can offer employees additional financial protection, which can help when you have a health issue that takes you off work. This supplemental protection includes short-term disability, off-the-job accident, and critical care insurance. Ask us for details
