Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay: Hourly wage of $19 (DOE) + Discretionary Monthly Department Incentives.

General Summary:As a capacity manager, you will negotiate rates on freight movements utilizing our large base of existing carriers and work to develop relationships with new carriers. Much of your time will be spent in a margin-producing role; follow-up and attention to detail are equally important. We are looking for an individual who works well with various personality types. Someone who can assess needs, prioritize, and ensure individual, team, and company goals are met to produce profitable outcomes.
- Providing customer service and support
- Negotiating freight rates with current or new partner carriers
- Prioritizing daily initiatives
- Making outbound phone calls and taking inbound phone calls
- Responding to customers/carriers/co-workers through email promptly
- Verifying potential new partner carriers are qualified based on our vetting process.
- Status checks (location and temp are applicable) throughout the day on all loads picking/delivering or in progress.
- Communicating with the booking account manager regarding any issues.
- Identify changes in the market to ensure rates are covered at the most profitable rate.
- Supporting the Account Manager's weekly goals

- Strong background in sales support and customer service
